Wind clan in the morining.

Frostfern lazily walked to the clan's camp and looked around with sleepy eyes. "I hate patrolling at dawn!" she said to her friend Goldenfang and frowned. Goldenfang sighed and walked off into the warrior's den.

Frostfern smiled at Tangstar as she watched him emerge out of his den, hoping he would notice her, but just in a few more seconds, her apprentice Loudpaw ran up to her and started shouting happily.

"Hey hey hey! Can we go training already!? Can we go!? Can we go!?" He shouted. Frostfern yawned and scowled, then went into the warriors' den.

Frostfern groaned and walked out of the den. Perfect time for a meeting. Wow. She thought and yawned, then went to the meeting spot of the clan and looked up at the bright sun's glare and she was forced to look back down. She took a spot between her friend Goldenfang and her sworn enemy, Bellflower.

A burst of murmuring ran through the crowd, until they were shushed by the elders. "Which means we're going to need more kits. Mating season has just passed by, and Birchtail is the only she-cat who might be giving birth to kits." Frostfern said.

Some of the elders glared at her, because they knew she was a kittypet earlier and they didn't trust her much, still. "Look, the kittypet talks." Bellflower said and some snickering came from the crowd. Frostfern looked down sadly.

A wave of murmuring in agreement ran through the crowd, and everyone started to walk off. Bellflower purposely bumped into Frostfern on her way out, and Frostfern shot her a cold glare with her glacier blue eyes.

Goldenfang found his way to Frostfern from among the crowd. "It's about time you go fetch a mate and get the WindClan some kits." Goldenfang said and snickered. "Shut up, fox dung. A warrior like me doesn't have time to nurse kits!" She said and walked off to look for her apprentice, Loudpaw.

Frostfern saw Loudpaw playing catch with Goldenfang's apprentice, Warmpaw. "Loudpaw, it's about time we go hunting. Hello Warmpaw!" Frostfern said and smiled at Warmpaw, who shyly nodded and smiled.

Goldenfang approached the group. "Hey Frostfern, do you mind taking Warmpaw along with you for today? I'm quite busy for now." He said. "Of course, no problems." Frostfern said and headed out the camp with the two apprentices trailing behind her.

Frostfern gasped, because she didn't notice Tangstar approaching then sighed. "You know, you shouldn't sneak up on people like that. But anyways, yes. We're actually out for hunting." She said and smiled. Loudpaw was already chasing after a rabbit.

"N-no worries, I guess..." Frostfern said and stared into distance as Tangstar walked off. Warmpaw gently tugged on her paw, and Frostfern regained her senses, and she continued walking.

"Um...Are you alright, Frostfern?" Warmpaw asked shyly. "I'm fine, it's just that I've barely talked to him for two moons since he became the leader." She murmured. Loudpaw grinned as he walked back with two preys.

Loudpaw dropped his pile of hunt, and sniffed the air and his ears twitch. "Do you guys hear that?" He said. Warmpaw and Frostfern shook their heads. "I don't know, but I think something's wrong, follow me!" Loudpaw said and started running towards the border.

Since the three of them were Windclan members, it was only natural that they were such good runners. Warmpaw quickly pounced upon the apprentice. Frostfern bit the tail of the cat that had jumped upon Tangstar and pulled him away.

Warmpaw and Loudpaw scratched the apprentice until the Shadowclan apprentice finally decided to run off for its safety.

Frostfern pounced on the other warrior, and scratched and bit the warrior in plain fury. "How dare you come to our territory?!" She hissed and bit off a little bit of the enemy cat's pitch-black fur, which was the plain opposite of her snowy white fur.

Frostfern sighed in relief and licked her paw. "Well, is everybody alright?" She asked.

"Frostfern, Tangstar! Did you both see how those mouse-brained Shadowclan members ran off?!" Loudpaw said and laughed. "Of course, you must remember that we engaged in a fight with them because they broke the Warrior Code's rule 2: Never tresspass or hunt upon another clan's territory." Frostfern said, and smiled at the two apprentices who nodded.

"Well, now that we have enough fresh-kill, we can go and drop it off to the fresh-kill pile." Warmpaw said. "We'll see you later, Tangstar. Should we send you an escort, if you'd like?" Frostfern asked with a smile.

"Not for now, we're fine." Frostfern managed to say as she carried a pile of fresh-kill in her mouth. Loudpaw and Warmpaw ran up ahead and disappeared out of sight. "These two, always so energetic." She said and chuckled.

"Oh, of course. How could I forget." Frostfern said and nodded, then she walked to the pile to drop off the fresh-kill. She then went into the Warriors' den and soundly fell asleep.

Frostfern woke up when she was poked by a fellow warrior, and she opened her eyes. "Huh?" She said and looked around. "Oh! Am I late for the Fourtrees gathering!?" She panicked and looked around. "No silly, we're about to get going. So wake up." Said the warrior who woke her up. "Oh, yes yes." Frostfern said, sighing in relief.

Frostfern quickly groomed herself with a little help from her friends, and then she walked out the den. "Good evening, Tangstar." She said.

"Yep. Is our deputy coming along? I heard he's quite sick with a whitecough..." Frostfern asked worriedly.

Frostfern nodded. "Squirreltooth is a great medicine cat. He'll certainly take good care of our deputy." She said with a smile. "It's about time that we start proceeding to Fourtrees. We don't want to be too late or Starclan and all other clans will be quite angry." She said.

"Hmm, I bet Thunderclan and Riverclan still would, not to forget Starclan." Frostfern smiled and chuckled. "But we know that Shadowclan just has a certain nature like that..." She said and sighed.

Frostfern followed along, and as she walked, she noticed a mild sprain in her paw. She ignored it and kept going, thinking that it was possibly just because she was tired.

Frostfern sat down in her designated spot, and glared at a Shadowclan member that she remembered from the morning.

The leaders agreed and waited for Tangstar to speak.

Frostfern thought she knew what Tangstar was about to talk about.

The clans broke into small murmurs. The Shadowclan leader shushed them, and cleared his throat with a nervous look. "How so?" The Riverclan leader asked, looking at the Shadowclan cats.

"How has Shadowclan broken the warrior code?" Riverclan leader Sunstar said. Frostfern sat in her place and rolled her eyes.

Sunstar looked at Shadowclan leader Patchstar. "Is that so? Then that's certainly a big offense!" Sunstar said and many cats nodded in agreement.

Patchstar gulped. "Er, I certainly did not know of this. Whoever has done this will be punished, I assure everybody." He said and sat back down on his rock.

Frostfern thought something was suspicious...

"Of course. All leaders may step down to talk to their clans, if they wish." Thunderclan leader Jaystar said.

Frostfern sighed in relief and stretched as she got up.
